Jam Night Home Page

The evening usually starts off at about 8.30pm (ish - well us musicians have never been good at telling the time!). The first 30 mins are usually taken up by the house band and after that it is just a matter of speaking to one of them and getting up to have a go (at playing that is - not at the band!). Most equipment is already there. There are 2 mics (a PA, of course!), a drum kit, 2 guitar amps and a bass rig. The only thing we ask is that you bring your own guitars / sticks and, if you play a different instrument, then bring it along! We have regularly had sax, flute, harmonica and keyboard players along!

The styles played vary from blues to rock to alternative to folk to acoustic. So, whatever style of music you play, come along to the Jam at the Prince of Wales, Camden Road, Tunbridge Wells for a good night out with like minded people!
